Here you will learn to control the bike in different ways and under different conditions – putting you on the path to becoming a proper dirt devil! At the end of the course you will receive a certificate as a keepsake, and the most improved rider of the day will also receive a trophy to keep as boasting rights! This course is from 9:15am to around 4pm, it takes you through getting used to an off-road motorcycle and its controls, basic handling, body positioning, riding while standing on the pegs, slalom while standing up, rear and front braking techniques, safe locking of wheels, cornering, climbs and descents, wooded sections and free riding along demarcated trails. The course includes use of one of the school’s off-road motorcycles, all protective clothing and body armour. You are welcome to bring your own bike and equipment with you should you prefer.
Notes
On purchasing this experience you will receive a voucher with 10 months validity. You do not need a full motorcycle license to participate. Minimum height is 5’5”. Maximum weight is 18 stone. You are advised to bring comfortable clothing, a towel and footwear for muddy conditions, preferably boots. A change of clothing is advisable for your journey home. Please note that this experience runs all year round and the school is open every day, although you are advised to check in advance for availability to avoid disappointment.
